Examiner for post-graduate specialist medical fellowships for every Australian state, plus New Zealand, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

Awarded a Paul Harris fellowship by Rotary Club of Longford for services to the community, in 2012.
Worked with aboriginal communities in Tasmania and Northern Territory; and acknowledge and respect the Tasmanian aboriginal people as the traditional and original owners, and continuing custodians of the land, and their elders - past and present, are integral to the management of any contemporary organisation.

LEIGH SEALY

Leigh practised as a solicitor and barrister from 1979 until retiring in 2022, practising as a solicitor advocate for over 40 years.
​
He has had extensive experience with commercial and construction disputes including arbitration, planning appeals, trade practices and corporate law and defamation actions.
From 2001 to 2022, working as a barrister, Leigh was also a committee member of the Tasmanian Bar Association, Tasmanian Racing Appeals Board, and the Judicial Committee for Tasmanian Rugby Union.
He was appointed Senior Counsel and Solicitor General of Tasmania in 2008 and served in that role until 2014.
Leigh has lectured on advocacy for the University of Tasmania and Centre for Legal Studies for over twenty years and has also lectured extensively on British and Australian constitutional law, including preparing a paper for the Law Reform Institute of Tasmania considering reforms to the Tasmanian constitution.
